The Lobby Security Desk and TV’s stands are design by Daniel Ostfeld in 2014, located at the U.S. Steel tower’s lobby in Pittsburgh, PA. These elements are part of an array of custom sculptures and installation that Daniel created for the lobby design with a display of metals and steel materials that the artist selected to embellish the U.S. Steel tower ideology.

The materials used for these pieces are raw steel for the mesh and stainless steel for the finishes of the elements. The security desk has a more intricate custom design of the mesh for the desk façade and overhang. There are two different TV’s stands along the design with 80 inch TV’s on each side. The TV’s facing the lounge area has a connection for the public use as a screen for meetings and presentations.
